This month we have been seeking out some intriguing dining experiences. We discovered a Tuscan villa set in the sky and serving hearty rustic Italian cuisine. We revisited, after a long gap, a favourite Mexican hangout that has undergone great changes and which along with live music and dancing features a chef from Mexico City cooking up the real deal. We found a new and exquisite Japanese restaurant modelled on Japan’s long-ago Warring States Period. We visited one of Bangkok’s most lauded French chefs to see how he has relaunched a long-established French restaurant, and we also returned to the restaurant that started Bangkok’s love affair with fine steakhouse dining.
