EDITOR PICKS - APRIL 2018

EDITOR'S PICKS OF THE MONTH - APRIL 2018

New restaurants seem to be opening in Bangkok with a dizzying frequency, and this month we have been taking a look at some outstanding new places.

Way down in the depths of Ekamai we found Broken Eggs, a genuine tapas restaurant with an outstanding selection of Spanish wines.

We visited with great interest the new venture by Martin Blunos, the UK-based Michelin-starred chef, who is featuring his own distinctive style of comfort food at the eponymous Blunos.

For Italian comfort food, we went to Mozza, in EmQuartier, the latest venture by The Kitchen Group, which is doing dramatically good business. So too is the latest Japanese omakase restaurant, Sushi Kappou Kitaohji, a new venture by Japan's kaiseki specialist Kitaohji.

We ended by going to Decanter, in the St Regis, which although not a new outlet has undergone a recent remodelling and which now serves tapas along with a magnificent wine list.

There is nowhere like Bangkok for eating action!
