THE QUINTESSENTIAL AFTERNOON TEA

THE QUINTESSENTIAL AFTERNOON TEA

We have been in a thoroughly festive mood for the past few weeks, and always more than ready to indulge in a five-star afternoon high tea, we have been looking at some of the options on offer.

High tea is not just about tea and food, of course. It is about relaxing and refreshing after a hectic round of shopping, and also about meeting up with friends, a special pleasure during the festive season.

We found several hotels that are staging a special festive afternoon tea for this time of the year. The Sukhothai has a Chocolate Buffet, Siam Kempinski has a Festive High Tea Buffet, St. Regis has a Festive Afternoon Tea where you can sit and gaze over the green expanse of the Royal Bangkok Sports Club, Paii at the W Hotel serves a choice of three afternoon tea sets, one of which includes champagne, and 137 Pillars Suites & Residences has an intriguing Fairytale Afternoon Tea prepared by a master Belgian patissier.

Compliments of the season to you all.
