summary : Flow offers buffet-style dining at the Millennium Hilton Bangkok. They showcase everything from Southeast Asian favorites to the best of Mediterranean cuisines in their five display kitchens, which are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Sunday brunch is one of those indulgent food traditions that never go out of style and Flow at the Millennium Hilton Bangkok is one of the best. They have an idyllic location overlooking the tranquil waters of the Chao Phraya and they offer an unparalleled full day brunch experience that expands across several different areas in the hotel.

Sunday brunch begins with complimentary cocktails and canapés at Three Sixty Jazz Lounge at 11AM on the 32nd floor where you will discover unobstructed awe-inspiring views of the Bangkok skyline. At 12 Noon, the buffet starts downstairs next to the lobby where you can dive headfirst into an international bevy of gourmet delicacies highlighting signature dishes from their award-winning steakhouse Prime, and their Chinese restaurant (Yuan). Another highlight is their private Cheese Room. It is a stunning marvel that serves as a proper shrine to “cheese, glorious cheese” in all its incarnations. Considered to be one of the best selections in Bangkok, you gain access to more than 30 different curated cheeses, with seductive aromas and textures for even the most refined palates. They have a stunning Brie Royale aux Truffles, which is to die for along with a lovely selection of Roquefort and Blue Cheeses. There is a hearty Manchego, a crumbly Mimolette, a brilliant Testum al Barolo, a fragrant Munster as well as a bevy of soft and creamy cheeses to choose from.

With over 200 items on the buffet, there is something to please everyone along with their free flow wine and cocktail package that includes white, red, rose and prosecco. On the food side you can’t go wrong with the raw bar with succulent Tsarskaya oysters from Japan and giant Normandy oysters from France. The additional feature is a stunning Foie Gras Station with Poached Foie Gras, Foie Gras w/ Latin Pears, an aromatic Pan Fried Foie Gras w/ Apple Compote, Fresh Figs & Herbs, and several versions of Pate and Rillettes. Be sure to try the awe-inspiring Foie Gras Crème Brûlée which is a salty, sweet delight that will redefine what you ever thought was possible with liver.

The seafood corner is also well appointed with the Alaskan King Crab and jumbo-sized prawns being the highlight along with the Hebridean Scottish Smoked Salmon. A new addition to the brunch experience is the “pop-up culinary carts” which appear at several different times throughout the day offering unique delicacies not found in the buffet. On our visit, there was a Seafood Bouillabaisse, a delightful tableside Caesar Salad and the unforgettable Peking Chicken which was perhaps one of the best dishes of the day. They also had a yellowfin tuna cutting show where the chef effortlessly breaks down the whole fish and then gives you an opportunity to enjoy some of the freshest Blue Fin Tuna and Salmon sashimi that I have ever had on a buffet. Other highlights include the Prime Rib Roast which was pink and juicy as well as the Slow Roasted Lamb Loin that is magical when served with the Red Wine Sauce. The Fried Snapper w/ Sweet Chili Sauce is equally delightful along with the Smoked Salmon w/ Avocado & Quinoa Salad, the Beef Carpaccio w/ Rocket & Parmesan Cheese, and the Chorizo Salad w/ Mild Cheddar & Pears. Dessert is served next door in The Lantern coffee shop which is transformed into an all you can eat dessert venue with house-made chocolates, cakes, and confections that will boggle the mind. You can enjoy signature selections such as Teppanyaki ice cream, Chocolate Whisky Truffle w/ Fresh Strawberries, Meringue & Chantilly along with chocolates, macaroons, tarts, and meringues. Feel free to bring the kids as Flow has a brand new Kids Zone on the 2ndfloor with its own team of private nannies to monitor the children as they play games, watch movies and enjoy kid-focused activities. The little ones additionally have their own special buffet line with kid friendly snacks such as pasta, mini burgers, chicken nuggets and fruit juices. Flow is a fabulous Sunday brunch with all the bells and whistles. There is no other place on or off the river where you can enjoy so much, for such an extended period of time. The facilities, cuisine, service and unparalleled access to different areas in the hotel all conspire to make you feel truly pampered in every way.
